1. Which fed's DVDs do you enjoy the most?
ReplyDelete-For just wrestling, ROH and CHIKARA. For documentary stuff, WWE.
2. If you buy WWE DVDs, what attracts you most to them, the subject matter, the documentary portion or the matches?
-A mix between the subject and the documentary. I haven't bought a single WWE DVD that's just a compilation of matches, because so many of them have matches that can be seen on so many other DVDs. The docs, however, are almost always really well done.
3. Do you think the WWE telegraphed Randy Savage going into the Hall of Fame by releasing his DVD set this year?
-Nah, because while I think it's finally time for Savage to go in, I'm still not totally sure it'll happen. Even so, I actually think it's a good idea to telegraph it a little bit, build up some hype going into the induction if that's what they're going for.
4. Pick one DVD that you would recommend to someone who's never bought a wrestling DVD before.
-Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen. A fantastic, fantastic history of the NWA in the 80s. Or, the Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior just for sheer comedy.
5. Which wrestler who doesn't have a DVD devoted to them out now deserves one the most?
-Among active wrestlers, probably Jericho, especially since they have so much great promo and match footage to work with.
