While he's busy taking my insults and holding the fort down until tag partner Eddie Edwards comes back in ROH, Davey Richards is forging on as a solo star elsewhere in the indies, most notably in Dragon Gate USA, where he was the first announced entrant and is arguably the favorite to win the Open the Freedom Gate Championship Tournament in Philly on November 28th (I HAVE MY TICKET~!). We know he has the goods in the ring, but here he shows his promo skills, an important piece of the puzzle if he's going to make the jump to the next level. Very excited for this show. I'll be home for the entire week of Thanksgiving on vacation, and I bought my GA ticket this morning. The tournament will rule, and Shingo/Dragon Kid vs. Doi/Yoshino has the potential to absolutely incredible.
