In honor of him "taking over" in TNA...
1. How strong a case does Hogan have for Wrestler of the '80s? How about '90s?
2. What was your favorite Hulk Hogan moment?
3. Hogan's ring work, underrated or ranked just fine?
4. How does Hogan's backstage rep change your view of him if at all?
5. Do you think Hogan going to TNA is a good thing?
1. 80's = Leading contender
ReplyDelete90's = He's up there, but I don't think he would be #1 since he took a lot of time off and was cooling off during the span dating from 91 to 94.
2. When Miss Elizabeth went to the back and surprisingly brought back the Hulkster to save Macho from an assault by The Honky Tonk Man and the Hart Foundation on an episode of Saturday Night's Main Event.
3. Underrated by some. I think he has been getting more acknowledgement for his past skill in recent discussions. He was very good on his best days.
4. It only makes him more fascinating.
5. I think it's set the IWC ablaze unlike any other story I can recall in 09 and possibly 08. Will TNA ultimately benefit in the long term? I'm skeptical.
1) 80's he wins hands down. 90s is Stone Cold.
ReplyDelete2) Probably when he tried to cut that promo on McMahon and it took him three takes live to get out what Vince McMahon actually believes.
3) Hogan is a better wrestler than he lets on. Look guys, it's the same thing as Cena. He doesn't do a thousand armbars because wrestling like a superhero is his character. (That said, why do I hate Cena but not Hulk?)
4) I mark out for Hogan's backstage ego.
5) Of course. If he's not going to wrestle, I'm game. Anything that takes a step closer to making rasslin' watchable again is fine by me.
