Batista's Last Match Is... Tonight?

PWSpyware reporting, via the A1 Boards
Goodnight, sweet prince
Batista, who's been rumbling for awhile that he wants to leave wrestling to pursue a career in acting, may be wrestling his final WWE match tonight. He wants out, and I can't say I blame him. He's getting up there in years, and hell, if he has an in in Hollywood, then he should take it. Given his closeness with Ric Flair in their WWE tenure together and given how much of a joke Flair has become now, I'm sure that helped his decision along.

For us the fans, well, at least for me, this is a huge, huge bummer. Batista was never my favorite wrestler, but in the last six months, he's been one of hte most interesting guys, if not THE most interesting guy on the roster (CM Punk notwithstanding). This also creates a big void at the top of the card for the WWE. Batista is one of the few wrestlers on the roster who's a guaranteed bank as a face and who can draw heat effectively as a top heel. He'll be missed.

Maybe now, they'll stop booking Jack Swagger like dogshit and they'll maybe look at giving Mike Knox a... oh that's right, they fired Mike Knox. Man, sucks to be the WWE, doesn't it?
