Wrestlers Having Strokes... WTF?, Plus Other Notes

LuFistoA few months back, Matt Weise, better known as Luther Reigns in his time in the WWE, suffered a stroke at age 38. It was attributed to his steroid and other drug use, but care to explain this one, courtesy of F4WOnline? Indie women's wrestler LuFisto suffered a stroke last week, which is mind-boggling at her age, which is 30. I mean, do women wrestlers take the roids too? If not, then that's pretty freaky. I wish nothing but a speedy recovery, because strokes are serious business. Just ask Bret Hart. Or any number of people who don't survive them. Yikes.

In other news on that link, the WWE is offering refunds for people dissatisfied with the failure of the WWE to deliver the RAW roster. Kudos to them for offering. I would have taken my ticket back for a refund as soon as the announcement posted. Not because the RAW guys didn't show, but because the show itself was pretty terribly booked. I don't blame Punk, Jericho, Undertaker or any of the other Smackdown guys at all for what happened. I blame Kevin Dunn, Brian Gewirtz, the McMahons and anyone else involved in scripting, staging or booking that fetid piece of donkey feces.
