Friday Five: Memorial Day

From here on out until Sunday evening, it's going to be light on the posting. As I mentioned last weekend, no QandAPalooza this week, no FtA, and the 30 Day Challenge will be on auto-post. Going out of state for a wedding. YEE-HAW! Love the consideration involved here. ANYWAY, being that it is Memorial Day weekend, here's a Friday Five in honor of guys we've lost over the years:

1. Was Brian Pillman World Championship material?

2. How surprised were you to hear Larry Zbyszko remain in character about Louie Spicolli the Nitro after he passe away?

3. If the Road Warriors were just hitting big today, do you think they would have lasted as long as they did as a team without someone trying to turn Hawk into a solo star?

4. Why do you think the incidence of suicide was so great in the Von Erich family?

5. How successful do you think Art Barr would have been had he lived and jumped to WCW with Eddy Guerrero?

Remember you can contact TH and ask him questions about wrestling, life or anything else. Please refer to this post for contact information. He always takes questions!

  1. 1. By todays standards (Charisma+Ability) absolutely. If they would have let him just talk. At the time, probably not. I think McMahon knew, he just never got his chance.

    2. Zbysko is a tool. Louie tried so hard to get straight, but in the end couldn't fight it. And to have a douche come out like that. It was stupid. (Produly displays his autographed Louie photo)

    3. Not long. I mean, what did Animal ever do? Shoulder tackles, clothesline and a body slam. He had the charisma of a loaf of bread. I think Animal and Ellering could compete with my "Night Sounds" cd to put me to sleep.

    4. Is there a longer answer than drugs and depression?

    5. As sad as it sounds, he would have just held back Eddie for a while.
