Wrestling Six Packs: Best Entrances

This week's topic, inspired by Chus Killalea, is all about the entrance. Which wrestlers had the best entrances? It's all about theatrics, pyrotechnics, sometimes just how the guy acts. Here are six of the best.

1. La Parka

When you come out with a Michael Jackson impersonator and dancers doing the "Thriller" dance in full choreography, you have the best entrance of all-time.

2. Sandman

Sandman's entrance was the whole reason why the guy was over as much as he was. He came out to an electrifying, crowd-pumping metal song, drank beers and hit himself over the head with a Singapore cane, like a real mutant, a mutant like most of the old ECW crowd was described as. This is a no-brainer.

3. Goldberg

Goldberg gets major props from me for walking through pyro. I'm not sure how much it hurt him, but it still looked damn impressive. I always loved how WCW and then the WWE would film him coming out all the way from the locker room. They really did up his mystique right, at least until the cattle prod incident...

4. Christian circa 2001-02

I hate that I couldn't find an actual video of the full entrance, with Christian coming out in all his pomp with the curtain of pyro falling from the top of the Titantron behind him. But hey, the theme song and the video help to set the mood right? Anyway, back during his original split from Edge, Christian had all the trappings to be a huge star, but McMahon thought that he wasn't tall enough to be a star. Whatevs. I'm still bitter.

5. Melina

Did I include this just for the split? Maybe. Maybe not. Okay, the split was a big, big part of it, but hey, the entrance goes all out for Melina as a Hollywood diva-type character. The red carpet is a great touch, and she sells the sizzle. But yeah, the split is just devine.

6. King Mabel

Mabel/Viscera/Big Daddy V sucked ass as a wrestler. This entrance is pretty sweet though. I give props to the guys who had to carry him to the ring, because not only was the dude fat as all get out, but that chair had to weigh a ton too.
