| Bodhi with his minions the Batiri (l) and Evil Midget Hydra |
What about Chikara makes Kizarny seem at home when he was a misfit in WWE? Well, the cop-out answer would be that Chikara is home to a motley association of outlandish gimmicks with a fanbase that accepts the reality of wrestling ants and guys with ice cream masks. That's partially true. However, I think the bigger thing to note here is that a) Sinn Bodhi is getting a chance to play his character more like he wants to and less like the WWE writers want him to and b) he doesn't speak in that terrible "stick-iz-in-the-middle-of-every-word" gimmick that he had to do in WWE.
If you don't believe that Bodhi is a great fit in Chikara, then that's your prerogative, but all you have to do is put an order in for Chaos in the Sea of Lost Souls when it comes out on DVD to get a firsthand glimpse of what I'm talking about. It really is night and day compared to the limited slice we got to see of him in the WWE. Even though it'd be better for him to be in WWE with the money and stuff, I'm glad he's at least found some place to fit in. Chikara and Kizarny were better fits from the start, and I think this year, both parties will benefit from that union.
