Who Does It Best?: Shooting Star Press

Welcome to another round of Who Does It Best?, where I give you a bunch of guys who do the same move, decide who does it the best and then open the floor to you to agree with me or tell me how much shit I'm full of with my own choice. This week, I'm going to go with the fairly common but still exotic enough high-flying move, the shooting star press. Your candidates:

Evan Bourne - AirBourne

Lince Dorado - Shooting Star Press

Davey Richards - Shooting Star Press

Paul London - Shooting Star Press

This is a very difficult choice for me, as all four have really good SSPs. I like both Lince's and DR's presses, but I think they're both behind London and Bourne. This is where it gets hairy for me. I've said that Bourne's SSP is form perfect and just a treat to watch, but after seeing London's, especially with the tuck towards the end, it's a really close call. I think I'm still going to have to go with Bourne, but if his is #1, London's is #1a.

Now, I leave it up to you!

Remember you can contact TH and ask him questions about wrestling, life or anything else. Please refer to this post for contact information. He always takes questions!

  1. 2 Cold Scorpio's is a great one. One ECW card he did it and grabbed his ankles in the rotation.

  4. Of the four there, I'd probably have to say Bourne just edges out the others...but they are all good picks.

By the by, I just thought I'd mention that this blog has been a daily read of mine for several months now and I really enjoy it.

    So greetings from Wales!

  5. I was going for active guys in American feds, so that's why you don't see Liger (although technically, he IS active in JAPW) or Kidman on here.

Also, WALES REPRESENT! Mason Ryan! Rob Terry! ...uh, Dylan Thomas!

  6. Paul London's looked awesome there, but I think Bourne gets the edge, just because he does it so well, and especially on a consistant basis.

I would however voted for Brock Lesnar's SSP if it had been in the list.

  7. I like the way London performs his, but overall I'd say bourne.
