Shut Up, Chavos

Yeah dude, I'm sure you didn't know they'd tape beforehand

Chavo Guerrero made waves by cancelling on an appearance for North Shore Professional Wrestling, a Quebec City-based promotion that has featured wrestlers such as El Generico, Kevin Steen, the Super Smash Bros. and LuFisto. Due to a new Impact Wrestling policy forbidding its talent from appearing on any event that would be recorded for release, Guerrero had to cancel the appearance because NSPW was filming the event for DVD. Guerrero took to Twitter to express his outrage at the company for deciding to record at "the last minute."

If that wasn't enough, his father Tweeted this caution against French Canadians.

First off, I have to wonder if Guerrero, Jr. actually knows how the fuck independent wrestling promotions work. DVD sales are pretty much the bread and butter of how these companies make money and spread the word about their existence. Every company worth a damn records shows on DVD. NSPW is not an exception to this. The more plausible explanation to me here is that Chavito didn't bother finding out that they were filming until it was too late.

I would be more even-handed about this except that Guerrero has a history of popping off on Twitter over professional gripes before. Remember when he got released from WWE and started using Twitter as a forum to say everything except that John Cena was the second gunman on the grassy knoll? Yeah, good times, good times.

Second, uh, way to inject ethnicity-baiting into the whole conversation, Guerrero, Sr. Seriously, not needed. That branch of the Guerrero family needs to put a sock in it.
