I don't know what kayfabe rag that came from, but whatever magazine it was, they had some goddamn gold in it with that quote. I don't wanna say that this is an example of how awesome wrestling used to be, because I think it still is awesome and can be awesome on the levels where it currently isn't. I guess it is to say that this is evidence of how awesome wrestling has always been.
