Sandow's 60 Tying It All Together

Sandow's still your intellectual better, cosplay humiliations be damned

Many fans have bemoaned Damien Sandow's descent into cosplay, myself included. How could such a silver-tongued master of the mic with the purest villainous in-ring style be reduced to Santino Marella-esque comic relief? Well, as is the case with most of WWE's narrative nowadays, the whole story is not confined just to RAW, Smackdown, Main Event, and Superstars. Sandow has received a new feature on the WWE App where he gets 60 seconds each week to wax poetically. The first installment is right here:

With a minute of airtime, Sandow reclaimed so much of his mojo that he had before running into the freshly-healed elbow of John Cena last November. He condensed the Bond villain spiel into less time than it takes to heat up leftovers, and he brought it all back to his original intellectual savior of the masses character that he brought with him to his second big run on the main roster. I don't know if this will lead to anything, because WWE is notorious for not cultivating what it sows on social media, but regardless, any opportunity to watch a magnetic performer like Sandow is one to seize.
