UK Armed Forces Day is in late June this year. Preston City Wrestling may be celebrating it a bit later than normal, but it will be celebrating in style. July 11, the promotion will be holding a mostly-free event for all comers. While the first three rows will cost some money, if you would like to attend the event at the Flag Market in Preston, you can do so for free. General admission (i.e., standing tickets) will be of no cost to the purchaser. So you can see some of England's best independent wrestling for the cool cool price of zero pounds sterling.

The laundry list of guest stars is long. Rockstar Spud, the Dudley Boys, Ken Anderson, and Velvet Sky are all set to make the trip over. Chris "Masters" Mortdetzky would be a guest star for most other promotions, but he's not only a PCW regular, but also the Champion. He will take on Dave Mastiff in what ought to be a certified HOSS FIGHT. Anderson will be battling Sha Samuels, the infamous East End Butcher. Spud's opponent will be a chap named Bubblegum, with whom I am not well-acquainted. The Dudleys and Sky don't have opponents yet, but British scene faves like Noam Dar, El Ligero, and Dean Allmark will also be there.

You can attend for free, but bring some cash anyway. PCW will have a ton of VIP package deals on merch and autographs. You can get access to the afterparty if you're among the first 200 to inquire, and hey, if you want a seat in the first three rows, they're pretty cheap. All the details can be found on the promotion's site. Free wrestling is the best wrestling though. Check it out if you can.
