King of Trios begins in fewer than three days, and I'm telling you, it is a must-attend for anyone who loves pro wrestling, fun, and color. Chikara tends to emphasize the latter two more strenuously out of design, since so many other promotions out there, regardless of their levels of mirth and gimmickry, promote themselves as REAL WRESTLING, HURRRRR. However, in addition to all the pomp and pageantry, Chikara has had and continues to have some darn good workers under its umbrella, two of them being Drew Gulak and Silver Ant. Gulak is the gruff element in the Gentlemen's Club, while Silver is slowly being assimilated under the spell of Nazmaldun in the Nightmare Warriors. Two years ago, they met in singles action under the Wrestling Is Respect banner, back when Silver was still Green. Check it out to get yourself excited for these two on Friday and also for the in-ring portion of the show, which will be just as good as the colorfully fun aspects, I promise.
