The Temple Is a Hot Ticket

Melissa will be at the Temple, but you won't unless you already got your tickets

Lucha Underground's second season announcement sent waves of euphoria around the wrestling world, but the big question was when the actual show would start taping. More importantly, when were the tickets going on sale? Yesterday, the announcement was made that tickets for the taping schedule in mid-to-late November were going to go on sale: November 14, 15, 21, and 22. I would have information about how one might go about procuring said tickets, but as one might expect, Dario Cueto's Temple has more than a few people lining up to gain entry.

Hopefully, you weren't shut out of the ticket purchasing process, because all them tickets are gone. GONE. However, one shouldn't be surprised with how hot a ticket it is and how limited the seats are. Plus, the producers have to make sure to leave seats open for Danny Trejo, because would you want to piss Danny Trejo off? Thought not.

Anyway, in casting/roster news, Cheerleader Melissa has been confirmed as part of the second season. Dave Meltzer reported that she was headed to LA to become the sister of Marty "The Moth" Martinez (better known as Martin Causus), but another report from Diva Dirt suggested a different path for the world-traveled veteran. She will play a masked character that "plays heavily into Lucha Underground’s tribe mythology." Regardless, I imagine Melissa will bring her A-game to whatever role she ends up playing. It's not only great that LU is bringing in wrestlers from the indie/international scene with such pedigrees, but that the company is still committed to having women take center stage. The beginning of 2016 can't get here soon enough, folks.
