From the Archives: Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley

Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose crossed paths a lot in WWE, and when they did, the results were stellar. Whether in singles matches or trios affairs, Bryan and Ambrose electrified crowds over the first half of 2013. And thanks to Bryan going a little to hard on the imagery during the Nexus debut and earning himself a sponsor-mandated sojourn on the indies in 2010, they had a chance to foreshadow their greatness in a WWE ring for Dragon Gate USA.

In his second to last match during that term (which thanks to advance booking and honoring commitments came after he won the United States Championship from The Miz), Bryan Danielson battled Jon Moxley in a marquee match for the now defunct DGUSA brand. Moxley was the proto-WWN Live's hottest property at the time, and a match against Danielson was a no-brainer.
