Wrestling Six Packs: Twitter Feeds You Need to Follow

I'm following Colt Cabana and so should you

Alright, enough of the bad TNA news. I'm sure you're sick of it, so let's throw out some more light-hearted fare, like social media, specifically Twitter. I'm on Twitter (are you following me yet?), and if you are too, well, you're probably following some of the very many wrestling personalities on there. Some of them are boring, some of them are interesting, some controversial and some funny. My six favorite feeds are as follows, a veritable best of the best, I guess.

1. Chris Jericho (@IAmJericho)

As cold and shrill as his character is to the fans on-screen, on the Internet, Jericho is very fan-friendly. He often does contests where he'll follow the winner, and there was that really funny "yo mama" war he had with #4 on the list. He's in full shill mode for Fozzy right now, but he still takes time out to post pics or talk metal with the fans.

2. Claudio Castagnoli (@ccastagnoli)

If it weren't for the Tweet updates on the wrestling events he's working, you would't know this Very European wrestler is a wrestler at all. He posts about coffee, Roger Federer and other various things. He also does month Twittourage Q&As where his followers ask questions and he dives right in to answer them. Right now, his Tweets are mostly confined to keeping us posted of his Tag League travails in Japan with his Kings of Wrestling partner Chris Hero (Also on Twitter).

3. Colt Cabana (@DrColtCabana)

Not only is the former Scotty Goldman an accomplished indie wrestler, he's an aspiring stand-up comic. He gives out free samples via his feed, and I have to say, he's piqued my interested enough to the point where I'd plunk down money to see him on stage as readily as I would in the squared circle.

4. The Miz (@mikethemiz)

Miz is noteworthy for the sheer amount of shit he talks, be it with Jericho, random Divas, Kofi Kingston, his followers. It's great, and he's just as good a trash-talker online as he is on camera. Recently, he's been reTweeting his followers making faux movie titles starring himself. It's been pretty good.

5. Howard Finkel (@howardfinkel)

Yeah, the Fink does a lot of shilling for the WWE stuff he does, like RAW live blogs and what not, but he also has a lot of really fun posts about stuff dear to his heart, mainly the New York Jets. His beloved Gang Green is in the AFC Championship Game this week, so you know he'll be pouring his heart out and cheering loudly for his underdogs.

6. Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks (@GenMeYB)

Of all the wrestlers on Twitter, Jackson does the most interacting with his fans. He's reTweeted me at least three times, and he'll shoot a few responses your way even if he doesn't follow you. He's as down to earth as he and his brother are talented. Big things for these guys if TNA lets them do their thing.
