Bischoff and Hogan Deny March 1; Meltzer Reports Monday Move Inevitable Anyway

Blog fan and wealth of wrestling knowledge himself Christopher J. Cassidy has a subscription to Dave Meltzer's newsletter and the premium content on his site, and Da Meltz is reporting in that premium portion that TNA is planning on a permanent move to Monday nights. There will be bi-weekly tapings, meaning one week will be live and the next taped. There is no set date for the move though.

Meltzer reported that they were going to go live on March 1 to oppose Cheech and Chong, something that was refuted by Bischoff and Hogan on Bubba the Love Sponge during their "State of TNA" address. However, this most recent news is dated today, February 1, and there have been rumblings of them going permanently to Mondays after the "success" (their word, not mine) of the 1/4 re-boot special. This is big news if Da Meltz isn't being worked here, but I tend to believe it because this is the endgame for both Spike and TNA all along. As for how they'll do, well, that's all up to speculation, but with Eric Bischoff as your top heel, you can't go wrong! /sarcasm
