The Best Moves of All-Time: Pele Kick

As with any flippy sort of kick or strike, the key to making it look good is for both the user and the receiver to be in good position. That's why Kofi Kingston's Trouble in Paradise kick can look so good in some cases (like it was this past Friday on Smackdown against Christian) and it can look like ass in others. Of course, Kofi is far from an accomplished wrestler and maybe either needs to switch his finisher to the Ranhei/SOS or to work on his timing a lot more.

The same cannot be said for AJ Styles. I've said a lot about TNA's shortcomings, both as a company and with their wrestlers, but almost every time I see AJ perform his Pele Kick, it's on-point. Then again, Styles is rightfully regarded as one of the best in the world right now, and he's certainly one of the best in TNA. It also helps if the guy taking the move sells like a champ, and Christopher Daniels certainly does in this case:
