Via Gabe Sapolsky's TwitterHoly crap, when I said that Johnny Gargano was the next big thing, I meant he'd achieve some major accolades in ROH or the Sapolsky feds. I didn't think the WWE had eyes on him, but apparently, they did. According to Gabe himself, Gargano signed a developmental deal last night, presumably while he was on-site to act as security on the NXT taping. This is huge news, as it not only means the WWE got a blue-chipper and a guy whom I think has tremendous potential to make some serious scrilla for the company, but it means they ARE scouting the indies.
Anyway, big ups to The Whole Shebang. Good to get the kid while he's young, and good to see that he'll get his money sooner rather than later. I wonder when he'll get to Florida...
