Quick Hits: The Revenge of Kitty Galore

Wellington

- In addition to Consequences Creed, F4W Online is reporting that former CZW wrestler and current OVW prospect Beef Wellington was inked to a developmental deal. I've seen him before at King of Trios last year, and he was pretty good. Good to see the WWE still has their eyes on Louisville even though they're not affiliated anymore.

- This Wrestler's Rescue thing is really picking up steam. Some disreputable news outlets are implicating Tammy Lynn Sytch with the "charity", enough so that she denied being a part of it on her Facebook, vehemently I might add. She claims she didn't accept a single penny from Dawn Marie and that she only helped six months ago. I believe her for what it's worth. Also, she claims, and I quote, "Everything Dawn does is half-assed, so nothing works." Ouch. Half-assed doesn't exactly mean dirty, BUT if this goes to trial, don't expect Sytch to be a character witness on Dawn's behalf.

- This is a nebulous story, but I heard it today and I'm kinda fascinated by it. Apparently, and this is only a rumor and nothing more, Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels are kinda ticked at each other. McMahon allegedly thinks that Michaels copped out by retiring and thinks he had something left in the tank. Conversely, Michaels was supposedly pissed at the way the Bryan Danielson thing was handled (which if true, makes me feel warm and tingly inside to know that AmDrag has a powerful ally within the WWE family). However, according to The Site That Shall Not Be Linked, there was no heat to begin with. Honestly, I tend to believe Scherer and Johnson over nebulous rumors, because even though their site is riddled with pop ups and spyware, they're not disreputable reporters.

But if it was true for a second, I'd totally be on Michaels' side. Not just because of the Danielson thing, but because the dude has a right to a healthy retirement and doesn't owe Vince McMahon a damn thing. He left on his own terms, and I respect him immensely for that.

- Speaking of AmDrag, count Randy Orton among his allies within the WWE. Dot Net is reporting that Orton posted on his newly minted Twitter page that while he understands while Danielson was fired, he's too talented not to come back. Michaels, Cena, Regal and now Orton. Folks, I like Danielson's chances.
