Wrestlespective's Power Poll for 7/13-19: Big Red Machine Tops The Poll

It's Kane's world, he just lets us live in itAs expected, Kane shot to the top of Wrestlespective's Power Poll for this week. It's not a shock because the guy won two huge matches (including the World Heavywegith Championship) at the Money in the Bank PPV and had an impressive showing on Smackdown 48 hours five days prior. I also had Kane at the top of my ballot. He won the week by far. Here's the Wrestlespective list, voted on by a who's who of wrestling bloggers, including my blogging Broseph Gordon Levitt, PizzaBodySlam:

1. Kane (NR)
2. Sheamus (4)
3. The Miz (6)
4. Randy Orton (2)
5. Rob Van Dam (1)
6. John Cena (5)
7. Wade Barrett (9)
8. Rey Mysterio (10)
9. Kurt Angle (8)
10. Chris Jericho (NR)

The list makes sense, although as you'll see with my list, I saw things a bit differently and took more into account Lucha Libre USA's MTV2 debut:

My Ballot
1. Kane - Obviously

2. The Miz - Playing a key role in the NXT battle royale, winning RAW's Money in the Bank, cutting hellacious promos and nearly taking out Sheamus for the title is what I'd call a good week.

3. Randy Orton - Here are five words I never thought I'd say last year: "I'm a Randy Orton fan." He's just been performing out of his mind. I think he's found his niche as a loner babyface.

4. Wade Barrett - Dude pulled that barrell roll slam on Henry out of his ass. Henry helped him, but after seeing it in real time and on replays, I'm more impressed with how Barrett saved it than anything. Plus, he was on point on NXT.

5. Sheamus - I got news for ya, fella. RAW wouldn't have been nearly as awesome if it weren't for the Celtic Warrior.

6. Neutronic - The guy was all over the LLUSA broadcast. He was really good in the opening six man, and while the main event kinda sucked, his role in the post-match beatdown was pretty key too.

7. Rob Van Dam - He wasn't as good as last week, but he did well enough to try and save that awful end-segment on Impact this week.

8. John Cena - If only he hadn't picked Great Khali for his team...

9. Evan Bourne - He and Sheamus had an awesome match, and he was all over the place in a good way at MitB. Plus, him not being ready for his match on cue? It added all sorts of awesome to an already epic 20 minute stretch on RAW.

10. Mascarita Dorada - Did the LLUSA show really warrant two spots on the list with its debut? Maybe, maybe not, but I have to throw some love out to Mascarita Dorada, who's really one of the most exciting wrestlers, not just mini-estrellas but wrestlers, out there today. HE showed it again on the Masked Warriors broadcast.
