Tyler Black to WWE Question Mark Dot Dot Dot

Black, the newest FCW superstar?

Jason Powell is reporting that Mike Johnson is reporting that the WWE is claiming it has signed current ROH World Champion Tyler Black to a developmental deal. Again, for as shitty a site in terms of pop-ups that Johnson's site is, he's the real deal when it comes to reporting, so I kinda believe this. The deal makes sense; Black has the same qualities that Jeff Hardy has in appealing to women and kids, only without the apparent drug addiction. I don't like Black all that much, but hey, whenever an indie wrestler signs a deal that could produce big bucks for him/her down the road a dead wrestler gets his wings I'm happy for them. And now, time to put Black through the Developmental Name Generator and see what he'll be known as...

Caleb Downer! C'mon down Caleb Downer and make a name for yourself in FCW and then eventually, the WWE!

However, the fat chicks down at The Arena who mark for him? It's a sad, sad day for them. It's also a sad day for ROH who now stand to lose both Black and Davey Richards by year's end as well as so far not getting any dates from Bryan Danielson thus far. What would I do if I were Adam Pearce? I'd probably admit that the Necro Butcher-as-a-member-of-the-Embassy angle was a mistake, have him turn back face and then either win the World Championship or have him chase someone like Claudio Castagnoli, Roderick Strong or even Austin Aries (THREE TIME! THREE TIME! THREE TIME ROH CHAMPION!) for a bit before winning early next year.
