King of Trios may be four months out, and Chikara hasn't even run its first show of '11. That's not stopping them from announcing the first team in this year's field. I thought it might have been last year's winners, the devious and devilish Bruderschaft des Kreuzes trio of Ares, Claudio Castagnoli and Tursas, but it's the winning team from 2009 who's announced first. IN that year, Chuck Taylor, Icarus and Gran Akuma won the whole thing by plowing through four different teams, including Team Uppercut (Dave Taylor, Castganoli and Bryan Danielson) in the finals. This year, Akuma's been replaced by Johnny Gargano, but Team FIST will make yet another appearance. This was expected, but it's still good to see them in the tourney this year.
