Instant Feedback: RAW Is Polite Disagreement

For whatever reason, whenever they're in England, they always bust out the long and good wrestling matches. Tonight was no different, as the show opened with a CM Punk/Mark Henry match that was better than the one they had the night after WrestleMania. Punk is just fearless with his bumps, the biggest one being thrown into the guardrail like a rag doll. Just so much goodness all around, and I loved the chair-assisted elbow drop by Punk to win the match. The post-match angle stuff with Chris Jericho was a little flat, but they've been beating the CM Drunk stuff into the ground. I guess they got to the end of the ROH angle stuff and are just repeating a bunch of tropes sloppily. But the match should be good.

Daniel Bryan did a good job with Kofi Kingston as well. That was fun little match. So was Santino Marella and David Otunga. The main event was pretty good too, and we got GREEN MIST! Holy shit, I love that they're going all out with Lord Tensai here. Give him every move and trope that every Americanized Japanese wrestler ever had, and maybe a few of them will stick. Then again, I've always been a fan of the green mist. Always.

The Brock Lesnar stuff was pretty cool too. I've loved his regular promo delivery, but the UFC-style recap promo was actually really well done. They're really doing their best to set him apart from the rest of the roster, and his delivery is so conducive to making him feel different.

Really good show tonight. I had low expectations because it was taped overseas, but they delivered.
