AIW's Straight Outta Compton occurred last night, and while the critical vibe coming from it has been positive so far, two major injuries also came out of the proceedings. The first one was from TWB favorite and once-and-hopefully-future-Throwback Sugar Dunkerton, who fractured his elbow in two places and is now in a cast. He was in a four way match with Eric Ryan, Gary Jay and Alex Colon, and the injury happened when someone (not sure who) (ETA: It was Colon, according to Alex Torres) landed on him awkwardly on a plancha to the outside. He was rushed to the hospital and will be out for the foreseeable future. Here's to a speedy and full recovery.
The other injury is a little more vaguely reported right now. The official AIW Twitter is reporting BJ Whitmer was also rushed to the hospital with an undisclosed injury. Not sure what it is, but apparently, he took a bottle to the head from Bobby Beverly in the main event. Hopefully, the injury isn't serious, or even worse, related to said bottle smashing. Either way, here's to a full and speedy recovery.
