Mark Henry has confirmed that he will be going under the knife today. He didn't confirm which of his maladies required surgery or how long he'll be out for, but at least we have confirmation that he IS getting surgery. That would explain his absence from TV. That being said, he intimated if he couldn't come back 100 percent that he'd retire in the subsequent tweet.
As one of the loudest cheerleaders for the Hall of Pain here on the Internet, I hope that he has a speedy and more importantly full recovery. The man is a beast and has been one of WWE's best performers for the last four years whenever they asked him to be Mark Henry and not try to rap or do something equally as silly.
