Tommy Dreamer. 2Cold Scorpio. Jerry Lynn. If you were watching Chikarasaurus Rex on iPPV, you saw the announcement of this team Saturday. I think it's a fine first addition to the annual King of Trios tournament. All three are known for their time in ECW (with Dreamer being the living embodiment of the spirit of the promotions), but here's the thing. All of them are known for things other hitting each other with weapons and bleeding. Yes, even Dreamer. There's a marked difference between these three guys than, oh, I don't know, Sabu, Sandman and Raven or what have you. Lynn and Scorpio are both accomplished technical wrestlers, and Dreamer evolved over his career, even if he never stopped waving the ECW flag.
All three can still go too. Dreamer's exploits on WWECW TV and even Impact are well-known. Lynn has been tearing it up on the indie scene in his retirement tour, most notably for Anarchy Championship Wrestling, and Scorpio is still mucking around in the South, having matches with guys like Vordell Walker that would play in any arena. I'm really excited for this team.
