Episode 72: Bangarangle

Patrick Vint of Black Heart, Gold Pants (and the Black Heart, Gold Podcast podcast), Slow States and SB Nation stops by again to cursorily talk about wrestling. We get a little bit into Impact Wrestling and more into Jerry Lawler, given I haven't really talked about the King on the podcast yet. We ruminate on who might replace him if he doesn't come back and agree JBL is a good choice. From there, it's all college football, as I'm going to try and integrate some non-'rasslin' talk into the main podcast rather than just have one a month talking about the non-wrestling stuff. It's too taxing! Anyway, we start out with teams that might be able to challenge Alabama. Pat comes out with Notre Dame and Florida State, which seem to be as valid answers in 2012 as they were in 1992. We laugh at Arkansas, examine the tire fire that is the Big Ten, discuss the awesome state of quarterback play and wonder why the Angry Iowa Running Back Hating God may hate Iowa running backs. I think I at one point compare them to Spinal Tap drummers. I describe the MAC as my spirit animal, and Pat declares he wants an In 'n Out Burger when we talk about Oregon State.
