WWE has made yet another promising signing towards their women's division by plucking Davina Rose from the independent circuit. Rose is a a protege of former WWE wrestler Serena Deeb, and she's been a mainstay at SHIMMER weekends for the last two years or so.

Again, the caveat here is that just because WWE is signing able-bodied women who actually like wrestling enough to make it their first choice of a career doesn't mean a sea change is coming, but with the current roster having its models being whittled out slowly and being replaced with actual wrestlers and model-types who have actually shown aptitude and desire to become wrestlers, things are looking up. Look for Rose to be headed to the NXT territory in Florida, where she'll be given a name that will probably piss people on Twitter off because they like bitching about that kind of thing.
