Chiva Kid wowed crowds at National Pro Wrestling Day with his aerial acrobatics, while Big O's wrestling career was launched in part by his role on Zack Ryder's Z! True Long Island Stories. For the other 16 seed, ISW Champion Izzie Deadyet takes on the IWC Champion John McChesney. Deadyet may have body parts falling off, but he's still the king of the Interspecies, but will that be enough for him to take out McChesney and his Steel City attack?
In the first staff-picked matchup, Mark Henry battles Tucor. Henry missed being named to the tournament through his own merits thanks to a long, injury-related layoff, but his return with a vengeance didn't escape the staff. Will he be able to withstand the unnatural force that this half-gerbil, half-toucan abomination from the laboratory of Dr. Cube will bring? In the other match, Amazing Kong will put her rage and destructive power to the test against the jovial Pierre Abernathy. Kong has spent the last year getting back into ring shape, and her forays into Chikara and SHINE have shown that she's on her way back. But will Abernathy, the slovenly yet lovable member of the Submission Squad, be able to disarm her with his charm, his faux-Hulkamania, and his explosive moonsault?
