Metro Pro Wrestling is Kansas City's local independent promotion. They throw their weekly TV show on YouTube, and I'd say it's one of the best serialized wrestling shows out there. They book a whole bunch of familiar faces including ACH, the Submission Squad, Adam Pearce, and TJ Perkins to go with their unique cast of natives and homegrowns. I'm not surprised that they've garnered enough interest to have someone film a documentary about them.

Scott Kessler is the guy behind said doc, and he's titled his project Wrestless: The MPW Documentary. He's currently filming right now, with his ETA on finishing in December of this year. He hopes to have the whole thing released next year at some point. He has no Kickstarter associated with it, and he doesn't need funds. However, this doc is worthy of your attention because of its nature. Of all the books written and behind-the-scenes footage shot, Total Divas being one of the first shows that chronicles how wrestlers live when the cameras are off is an astounding fact. This documentary seems like it's going to be in a similar vein, only with wrestling at a more grassroots level. The subjects aren't jet-setters, and I bet wrestling isn't even most of their first careers. However, Wrestless will look to shed some light on what they go through all the same.

The first trailer is located after the jump. Check it out, and keep checking back on this doc. It looks good.
