Normally, holidays are out of control, and it seems like every day has something mundane or absurd to celebrate. However, today is National Best Friends Day, and I will never ever not celebrate a wrestling based holiday. Chuck Taylor and Trent? may not have lasted that long as a tag team, but they totally made their mark on Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Who could forget their run in DDT4 2014, when they busted out the Trenchcoat Gag? And how a... wait, you mean today isn't the day to celebrate actual, legit, in-real-life best friends? Well holy shit, I guess this post just lost all its steam.
Then again, while friendship in wrestling can be hard to come by, it exists. The Chickbusters, the Time Splitters, Eddie Guerrero and [REDACTED], and even Sting and Lex Luger are among some of the best wrestling friendships that could be celebrated today, but honestly, does anyone embody the spirit of filial love and camaraderie than Bayley? No matter who you are or what you've done, you can always count on Bayley to be there for you with a giant hug. Even if you're minding your own business, walking down the hall...
