Tony Atlas got the axe from the WWE today. Atlas was best known in his latest run firstly as the ne'er-do-well manager of Mark Henry and then later on as professional laugh track provider, quipper and the black Ed McMahon on the short-lived Abraham Washington Show. While Atlas' laugh was the only thing that made that "show" tolerable and one of my favorite things about wrestling last year, there wasn't much left for him to do with the company. It sucks for him though unless an indie company that can afford him brings him on as a manager or announcer or something.Photo Credit: WWE.com
