Our Long National Nightmare Is Over (For Now, at Least)

From the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, via A1Wrestling.com

FREE AT LASTVince Russo has resigned his post as head-writer for TNA. He will still remain with the company as a consultant, but his vile stench will no longer be wafting from Spike TV on Monday nights. Is this a coincidence coming off perhaps the best Impact ever? I.Think.Not.

Of course, the Heyman-to-TNA rumors continue to fly, although really, it seems everyone who isn't nailed down by the WWE is headed to TNA according to "rumors". As with anything in wrestling, I'll believe it when I see it, but unlike Meltzer, I won't be surprised. Really, if Bret Hart can come back to work for the WWE in an on-screen capacity, if Eric Bischoff can subjugate himself to Vince McMahon, if ANYONE can come back to work with another guy who's wronged them, then yes, Eric Bischoff and Paul Heyman can co-exist, thank you.

Remember you can contact TH and ask him questions about wrestling, life or anything else. Please refer to this post for contact information. He always takes questions!
