I usually don't cover puroresu on here, but I saw this picture floating around the webs from New Japan Pro Wrestling's Wrestle Kingdom 7. Yes, the man whose gimmick it was to treat wrestling as SERIOUS BUSINESS all the time to set up a dream match with El Generico (ostensibly) is dressed as Agent 47 from the Hitman series of games. I'm not knocking Ki here. I'm also not knocking his Stateside gimmick either, because as I noted before, it was overabundantly effective. However, is there any surprise that Gabe Sapolsky would try to run with the former gimmick, and any other promotion might try run with this one? Didn't think so.
