The Best Moves of All-Time: Banzai Drop

Yokozuna, in my opinion, is one of the most underrated wrestlers in the history of the industry. Everyone gives credit to Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels for keeping the WWF afloat between Hogan and Austin, but a lot of what carried 1993 and early 1994 was the menace of Yokozuna. You could argue that he was the closest thing to a bona-fide franchise heel Champion the WWF/E had until Triple H and Brock Lesnar came along this past decade. He then moved onto the tag division with Owen Hart at a time when the tag division was still promoted in the company as more than just an afterthought.

A lot of his allure came from the devastating finisher, the Banzai Drop. For a fat guy wrestler like Yokozuna, there's no move more a propos. Here he is giving it to a very young Jeff Hardy.
