Wrestlespective 11/11 Power Poll: I'm a Day Late, Deal with It

It's a-tea time in England, no?

Welcome to yet another edition of the Wrestlespective Power Poll, a poll ranking wrestlers on a weekly basis based on how awesomely they performed or were portrayed on a Tuesday-to-Monday cycle. It is voted by a who's-who of wrestling bloggers, including my blogging Albertbro PuBrols, PizzaBodySlam. I will list the top ten, and then post and comment on my ballot. Here goes:

1. RED BELLY (Last week 5)
2. Edge (2)
3. Randy Orton (3)
4. The Miz (7)
5. Kane (1)
6. John Cena (6)
7. Alberto del Rio (10)
8. Jeff Hardy (9)
9. Daniel Bryan (4)
10. Santino Marella (NR)

And now, my ballot:

1. Santino Marella - Fuck the haters, his tea party was the best thing on wrestling TV this voting period, and it mostly was great because the dude has awesome comedic delivery.

2. RED BELLY - He gets a hometown discount, as well as the fact that the Nexus giving him the Rudy treatment at the end of RAW was awesome in its absurdity.

3. Edge - Well who'da thunk taking Edge off RAW would elevate his game to the point where I'm not embarrassed to watch him week in and week out? Okay, that's a bit of harsh overstatement, but he's found new life on Smackdown, standing tall at the end over the invading Nexus.

4. Alberto del Rio - Wrestled well in both bookend matches on Smackdown, plus he's just awesome in general.

5. The Osirian Portal - Gotta give these guys a shout-out for their win last weekend over the Briscoes, which is about as big a tag win you can get on the indie circuit short of taking out a team that works for TNA.

6. John Cena - Put David Otunga in his place and did some mighty fine refereein' on RAW.

7. The Miz - Yeah, he sabotaged his own team, but I just love the guy's smarm lately. Plus, his bromance with Michael Cole is still pretty hilarious.

8. Jeff Hardy - If his heel push in TNA isn't working, it isn't because the guy's not trying. Gotta hand it to him, he's actually giving a damn getting his character over, which is refreshing for a guy coming from the WWE to TNA for the schedule and the lax drug policy.

9. David Otunga - Yeah, he got punked around a lot, but I had to throw him a bone for his excellent Starscream to RED BELLY's Megatron lately. This voting period just seemed to showcase that a bit more than recently.

10. Jack Swagger - Had some nice 'rasslin' action, plus I love his interplay with the Soaring Eagle.
