The moment was long overdue; however, as they always say, better late than never. Christian finally has ascended to the top of the mountain in WWE. Yes, he won two titles in TNA, but really, TNA doesn't hold its own title in the same esteem as they do the WWE's Championships. HE won the ECW Championship, but again, that was junior-league. This is the big prize.
I for one couldn't be any happier than I am now for Captain Charisma. Long have I thought he was the star talent in his teaming with Edge. Better worker, better promo, just better everything except in one department, and that was look. Vince McMahon happens to hold the "look" part in higher regard than most, because why else would it have taken so long for Christian to get to the top of the mountain? Regardless, I'm glad he relented a little bit, because I'm not the only one who's happy to see Christian finally with a big prize around his waist.
Even if his reign lasts only until the next PPV or shorter, last night is a night that no one can take away from Christian, well, no one except for the President and our armed forces. But then again, even as a Canadian, I'm sure Christian doesn't mind...
