Yep, Mick Foley's decided to auction off Mr. Socko, which for those too young to remember, was the sock puppet he used as Mankind initially to cheer up Vince McMahon in the hospital, and eventually, to add more punishment through pungency to his Mandible Claw finisher. While bittersweet for wrestling and probably for Foley as well, it comes off to benefit a very noble cause. RAINN, or the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network, is a charity that Foley has been stumping for in the last few months, tirelessly raising money to help fund the charity that helps victims of sexual assault and abuse.
Anyway, to commemorate the ceremonial passing of the wrestling artifact from Foley to a lucky bidder/fan, Brandon Stroud put together a pretty swanky Youtube montage of great moments in Socko history. Go give it a look. NOW.
