PWG Is Ahead of the Curve Once Again

Yep, just Kevin Steen superplexing Adam Cole through a pyramid of chairs. No big deal.

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla ran its final show of 2012, Mystery Vortex, and among the things that happened on the show, Sami Callihan gave Drake Younger a piledriver on the apron. I'd marvel at this and will more than likely poop myself watching it when I finally get the DVD, but it's almost like PWG mandate that at least one apron spot happens per match. I dig it. I'm just not shocked by it anymore.

Anyway, even though the above picture may indicate otherwise, Adam Cole walked out of the American Legion Hall the same way he walked out of it, in possession of the PWG World Championship. The only difference was that when he walked out, he had a legitimate claim to the belt as he defeated Kevin Steen in a batshit insane Guerrilla Warfare match. PWG continues to be ahead of the curve on guys in the main event, as they feature guys that other, "more major" companies drag their feet on. Is there any doubt that Cole is a major dude now? Didn't think so.
