First, he danced with Fandangirl/Scaramouche/Anonymous Dancer. Then, he introduced the non-NXT world to Summer Rae. When that relationship went sour, he partnered up with Layla. However, none of them could match up to the concentrated, fancy-footed grandeur contained within Hornswoggle. Even though the segment was used as another rest point in the Sisyphean journey that is the Fandango vs. Summer and Layla "feud," pairing Hornswoggle with him was a comedic touch of brilliance. I'm bummed that it was only a one-night-only thing, but hey, beauty in this world is fleeting. However, I will say that I'm glad that the announce team behaved itself and stuck to short jokes instead of going for the homophobia angle. Baby steps.
