An Extravaganza of Wrestling Exhibitions

September 29, in Norwalk, OH, wrestling is about to get old school as heck. An Extravaganza of Wrestling Exhibitions will be taking place, a show looking to replicate the splendor and pageantry of professional wrestling as it was at the turn of last century. The show will not only feature in-ring action but other old-timey attractions as well, including a ragtime band. The roster for this one-off show is a mix of wrestlers who fit the oeuvre like Dasher Hatfield, Thunderkitty, and Marion Fontaine (who is promoting the show) and other more current wrestlers like Matt Cross, Chuck Taylor, and Louis Lyndon. The trailer is after the jump.

If I were in the area, I would definitely head to the Huron County Fairgrounds for the experience. Fortunately for people in the area, the venue is pretty close to four different big cities. The venue is two hours from both Columbus and Detroit and roughly one hour from Toledo and Cleveland. The show is going to be a unique experience, and it's the kind of thing in pro wrestling that stretches its artistic boundaries, i.e. what we should be encouraging rather than the 30-billionth ECW reunion show. Check it out.
