History between the two - The two have faced off in the indies a few times, with both men getting wins against each other. Recently, Bryan and Punk have only really butted heads once, indirectly. When The Nexus debuted as a unit, Punk was in their warpath on the only night Bryan was a member of the group. There is respect between the two though, as shown through Punk's announcer stint at the end of 2010.
