John Thorne, one of the head guys at AIW, apparently read my blog about visas yesterday and wanted to clear up some things. Cherry Bomb and Leah von Dutch were not held up by visa issues. von Dutch did not make it across the border because the line at customs was too long. The cause for the long lines was that it was a Canadian holiday weekend. Apparently, Cherry Bomb was already in the country, but she didn't have a means of transportation to get to the show. It's her third last minute cancellation for AIW, by the by.
This is only one side of the story, but I'm not sure what else either von Dutch or Cherry Bomb could add that would illuminate things further. Still, if they have something to say about everything, I'll be sure to report that as well.
