Daniel Bryan met up with a fan of his before last night's live Smackdown show in Pittsburgh. That fan was seven-year-old Connor Michalek, who has been battling brain-and-spine cancer for four years of his short life so far. The story itself is a heart-warming, life-affirming recap of the meeting, and I am getting misty-eyed just typing this.
Say what you want about pro wrestlers, but for as weird as they seem to be as a collective, most of them seem to have big hearts and love their fans. This just happens to be the latest example, but that doesn't make it mundane or any less special than it was for little Connor to meet his hero.
