The Chikarmy wanted Dieter von Stiegerwalt out of power after he had run amok as Director of Fun. He was the BDK's enabler, so to speak. If he were gone, things would get better, right? Well, be careful what you wish for, because you might just get saddled with Wink Vavasseur. It's very hard to read the current DoF. Is he a bumbling incompetent simpleton? Does he have a more sinister agenda? Is he a legacy hire gone terribly wrong? Or is he indeed the Grim Reaper in human form? Whatever he is, his Chikarametrics and antagonism of roster members for seemingly no reason at all has made him the nexus for the frustrations of fan and wrestler alike. Will his removal from his current position be the panacea that Chikara needs? Or will we be ruing the day that we wished for him to be removed of his position? We may find that out on Sunday.
